| The Good Knights of East Providence staged an improbable comeback against the Royals in their first game on Sunday at Providence Country Day. Trailing 6-0 and held completely in check with just two hits by the Royals Jeremy Bourget through six innings the Good Knights put together a string of five hits, two walks, and a hit batter together with an infield error to erupt for seven runs and a 7-6 victory. Joe Botelho drove in the tying and winning tallies with a line single to right center off reliever Matt Jurnowski. The Royals had a big inning of their own, a five run third highlighted by Tim Brennan's two out, two run single. |

| Jeff Sousa no-hit the Providence Capitals on Saturday, June 12, at Providence Country Day and the Good Knights of East Providence took a 4-0 verdict for their fifth win in six games. The right-hander from Seekonk walked two with two out in the sixth, but got a pop out to end the threat. In the seventh the first two Capital batters reached on a walk and an infield error, but the Knights pulled off a 5-3-7 double play and Sousa got the final out on a tapper back to the mound. It was his first victory of the season. First batter of the game for the E.P. nine, Brad Clarkson, walked, stole second and third, and scored when the catcher's throw sailed into left field. It turned out to be the only run the Knights would need. They were limited to just three hits by the Capitals' Ken Beatty and Anthony Petrarca. |
